Here’s another training session, about a week out from my first time competing at the 2010 Arnold Classic, and my first time participating in a kettlebell sport competition. After, reviewing this clip, I found a few tweaks that would help me get more reps, be more efficient in my movement, and reduce muscle fatigue. One [...]

I know I’ve been M.I.A. for a few days. However, I spent last weekend attending one of the best kettlebell-centered seminars, during my career as a strength & conditioning coach. While, I finally just received the feeling in my legs, and the full body soreness has subsided, I am still ridning high from the energy [...]

Making the right food choices, that fit “your” program, while on the road, does not have to be that hard. You just have to do your due diligence. In this video, I am in Cali, attending Mike Mahler’s Kettlebells in the Age of Quarrel seminar, and just returned from a quick trip to a local [...]

I am often asked, “What is a cattleball?” or “Do you teach that cannonball training I see on TV?” Better yet, I often hear, “Kettlebells are just another new weight loss gimmick. Why use them, when I can use dumb bells or barbells, which have been around long before kettlebells?” I go on to explain [...]

I love the kettlebell farmers walk. It’s excellent for full body training for size and strength, as well as improving overall conditioning. Farmers walks are also great for MMA conditioning, and grip strength training. Muay Thai practitioners will definitely love the grip power gained from farmers walks, for creating a powerful clinch. Take a look [...]

I am always looking for ways for you to get the best training you can, and not be confined to the same boring four walls of a gym. Plus, having a little fun, while you train, is always a great incentive. Here is a great video, utilizing another exercise tool, that is portable, affordable, and [...]

One of the best exercises to build size and strength are overhead pressing exercises. Another great overhead pressing exercise tool is the kettlebell. Not only will this exercise tool help build strength and size in your back, shoulders, and arms, it also works the entire trunk area (core), but the push presses I did in [...]

Kettlebell Ladders Perform the 2 exercises in each group as supersets (i.e. perform exercise 1a for 1 rep, perform 1b for 1 rep, perform 1a for 2 reps, perform 1b, for 2 reps…etc.) Continue up to 5, and work your way down. Rest for 2 minutes before performing the second group of exercises in the [...]
