Here’s a workout for fat loss, using 4 exercises you can do anywhere, anytime. The bonus….the only equipment you need is a jump rope.

By performing these 4 exercises, back-to-back without rest, you will ramp up your metabolism, cardio, save time, & enhance strength & flexibility.

Here’s The Workout:

Superset:

1a. Skip Rope x 3 min
1b. Alligator Crawl x 1 min
1c. Backward Bear Crawl x 1 min
1d. Hindu Pushup x 1min

Rest: 90-120sec (beg.)
60-90 sec (inter.)
30-60 sec (adv.)

Perform: 4-5 Rounds

Here’s a sure fat-burning kettlebell combo that , not only builds strength and explosive power in your legs, but sends your conditioning through the roof. This side shuffle swing/goblet jump squat combo is also a great way to bust through any training & fat loss plateaus, you may be experiencing.

This workout is great for fighter conditioning, athletes looking to improve explosiveness, while working on their conditioning during the off-season, as well as the weekend warriors & warriorettes looking to shed those pounds, create a lean sexy body, while cutting their workout time.

1a. Left Side Shuffle Swings x 3 (beg) or 5 (adv.)
1b.) Right Side Shuffle Swings x 3 (beg) or 5 (adv.)
1c.) Kettlebell Goblet Jump Squats x 3 (beg/int) or 5 (adv.)

Rest 90 sec.

Perform 3-5 Rounds
1-2 non-consecutive days/week

The holidays are right around the corner. However, I’m not worried, and neither should you. We have kick-butt training like the following, so tell Aunt Annie Mae to put down the sweet potato pie & come “Get Some Of This!

1a. Kettlebell Clean & Press
1b. Hill Sprint x 25-50 yards
1c. Burpees (at top of the hill)
1d. Jog Down The Hill

Perform the reps of the kettlebell C&P & burpees as follows:

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

NOTE: Perform given amount of reps on left & right sides, during kettlebell C&P. (i.e 10 reps on the right & 10 reps on the left, then run your hill sprint).

This bad boy will get your heart rate just a “tad bit” excited, to say the least. If you’re feeling really froggy, then work your way down the ladder, and back up. (i.e. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10).

Here’s a really crazy circuit of kettlebells & bodyweight exercises, that will have you smoked.
It definitely had one of my New Warrior Kettlebells – Houston warriors sweating, as you will see in this video. Here is the workout:

Perform each exercise, back to back, without rest for 1 min. each.
Once you’ve completed 1 round of all four exercises, rest for 90 seconds, and repeat.
Complete 5 rounds, and let me know how it goes.

As always, play hard and have “FUN!”

1. 2 Hand kettlebell swings
2. Burpees (without the push up)
3. Alternating Push Ups (w/ 1 hand elevated on the kettlebell)
4. Kettlebell 1/2 sit up w/ 2 hand overhead raise

Here are some video highlights from one of our Team AM (awakeningsmovement.com) training sessions at the playground. We are a few weeks out from competing for the first time, in the Men’s Health Urbanathlon.

During the time that we shot this footage, my focus was to help build up the guys’s muscle endurance, improve their overall conditioning, and build some killer strength, using only their bodyweight.

It started to get dark outside, during this training session, so some of the clips are not shown, due to the quality. However, this session’s program is listed below.

The workout circuit consisted of the following:

1. Box Jump Squats
2. Decline Push Ups
3. Bulgarian Split Squat
4. Incline Plyo Push Up (bonus: add a chest slap & behind the back clap)
5. Decline Mt. Climbers
6. Step Ups
7. Dips

Perform each exercise for 1 min. before moving to the next one. Rest 30 sec. between each exercise. Perform 5 rounds.

Take this workout for a spin, and get back to me. I’m sure you’re heart will be racing, but it will definitely add some spice to your current routine.
